BioThis journal is a record of my stay in the USA.

Time constraints during these first days are resulting in a lag in reporting, to be made up (or not) later on...
The background:
Every second summer, we go as a family to visit the relatives and friends in the USA. Particularly Los Angeles, where jj (my husband) and I lived prior to 1984 (since then: in Israel). This time, as on all alternating visits, we're also spending a week with the elder of my brothers (LDS) in Portland, Oregon, where he's lived since 1981. (The younger, RDS, is in Long Beach, CA, near my parents who live in Westchester, near LAX).
